Dewy Skin. Keep skin
fresh looking this season, with a dewy complexion with a light and
natural blush. Make sure to exfoliate your face (gently), and use a
primer to get a nice smooth base, to rock this look at its best. If
you can afford to splash out a little, then Benefit's 'That Gal'
illuminating primer (£21.50) is a great option.

Go all out pretty with pale pink glossy lips and big lashes, for a doll like look, as seen at the likes of Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs, or stay fresh faced and very minimal, รก la Missoni, with just a little light colour on your eyes to highlight them.
Go Retro. The retro look is back in force on the catwalks of Jean Paul Gaultier and Christian Dior. Think bold black eyeliner: I love Rimmel's Exaggerate Liquid Liner in 100% Black, which is easy to apply and a purse happy £5.29. Get it from Superdrug on their current 3 for 2 offer on Rimmel and you could snap yourself up a treat too! Pair this with bright red lips, Mac's Russian Red or Ruby Woo are classic colours, and a few pin curls or victory rolls if you want to go all out. Beautiful.

Big Brows. Still in for Spring/ Summer, make your brows stand out by going au naturel, like at Derek Lam. Fill in uneven brows with an eyebrow pencil to make sure they really stand out and wear with pared down neutral tone make up, so they really pop.
Metallics. Emilio Pucci and Fendi were two front runners for the metallic trend this season. Make the dramatic gold leaf runway looks work for you by paring it down to a sweep of metallics in your classic smokey eye (the darker the better for that look this season by the way with Rodarte's deep blue hues in their shows). Try Barry M's Dazzle Dust in Bronze and in Black (3 for £10 at Superdrug at the moment, or in the spend £6 and get a free limited edition gloss at Boots- around £4.50 each at either store), or try Boots 17 Eye Dazzle range for £3.99, which I personally love. Go for the Pucci look with golden tones across the eyelid, blended into black at the outer corner, with dark eyeliner and lashes for a dramatic but wearable night time look.
Brights. Go for a massive colour pop on your eyes with coloured eyeliner and a rainbow of colours across your lids, a la Vivienne Westwood's Red Label. Miu Miu went for dramatic reds for their look, but make sure to line the eyes with a dark colour if you do, to prevent looking tired. Team with purple in a winged effect for a fantastic dramatic eye.
Lip Stain. Donna Karan and Erdem displayed the stained look lip this season, a very wearable trend for day or night.Go two tone for the ultimate look, with a darker wine red in the centre. Using a lip liner can help define your dramatic look and keep it set for longer. Try Max Factor's Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint, £7.99, for staying power. Make sure to keep your lips well moisturised with balm beforehand to make sure your pout looks the best it can.

Statement Liner. Dolce and Gabbana and Jonathan Saunders went with feline flicks on an otherwise fairly bare face for a statement look this season. House of Holland did the same but with grungy dark liner underneath the eyes. This is one you can wear however you prefer, just make sure it is bold and let it speak for itself.
Contouring. Use a slightly darker powder than your natural skin tone to add contouring to your face this season, on your cheeks and forehead, or use bronzer from your cheekbone to the top of your ear for a subtle but effective look.Michael Kors and Sass and Bide both did gorgeous versions of this look, so look them up for inspiration.
